Nigeria: Gaming Complaints & Licensing Checks

Identify the relevant jurisdiction

A statement from one Nigerian state should not be treated as authorization across the country. Start with the authority responsible for your location and the specific activity.

For Lagos enquiries, the Lagos State Lotteries and Gaming Authority contact page provides official enquiry and complaint forms. It explicitly accepts reports concerning licensed operators, agents and unlicensed platforms. This is a Lagos resource, not a nationwide license confirmation.

What to include in a complaint

The official form asks for information such as the operator, incident date, complaint category and supporting evidence. Keep receipts, screenshots and correspondence. Check the domain before uploading personal information.

Do not publish identity documents or private account information on social media to pursue a dispute. Never share a wallet seed phrase or authentication code with a purported recovery service.

Authorization and age are separate questions

This page does not confirm Nigerian authorization for Fish & Chips. Verify both the applicable age restriction and operator permission with the relevant authority. A local-language advertisement or payment option proves neither.
