Mines is a short, simple game: a 5×5 grid hides a number of mines that you choose, and you uncover tiles one at a time. Each safe tile raises your multiplier. You can cash out after any safe tile, and if you uncover a mine the round ends and the stake is lost.
TL;DR: pick a stake (0.1–5 USDT) and 1–24 mines, reveal tiles, cash out whenever you like. The RTP is 97% and a single bet can pay at most 20 USDT. No pattern or "safe tile" exists.
Step by step
- Open Mines and enter your stake.
- Choose how many mines to hide (1 to 24).
- Tap a tile. A gem means safe, and the multiplier goes up.
- Keep going or press Cash out to collect stake × current multiplier.
- Hit a mine and the round is over.
How the multiplier works
The multiplier is the fair odds of surviving that many picks, multiplied by 0.97. With 3 mines, the first pick is safe 22 times out of 25, so it pays a little above 1×. With 20 mines, the first pick is safe only 5 times in 25, so it pays a lot more. In both cases the house edge is the same 3%.
Choosing the number of mines
- 1–3 mines: many small steps, frequent small wins.
- 5–10 mines: a balance of step size and risk.
- 15+ mines: very few picks before a big multiplier, and most rounds lose.
None of these settings is "better" in the long run. They only change how swingy your results are.
Common myths
- "Corners are safer." No. Mine positions are drawn uniformly from the round's seed.
- "After a loss a win is due." Rounds are independent.
- "Cashing out at 2× beats the game." Any target still carries the same edge.
Fairness
Every round is derived from a server seed committed (as a SHA-256 hash) before you bet, your client seed and a nonce. Rotate the seed in the fairness panel to reveal the old server seed and re-check past rounds. See Is Mines provably fair? for the full check.

Frequently asked questions
How many mines can I choose?
Any number from 1 to 24 on a 25-tile grid. Fewer mines means smaller steps but safer picks; more mines means bigger steps and a much higher chance of losing the round.
What is the most I can win in one Mines round?
Stakes run from 0.1 to 5 USDT and any single bet pays out at most 20 USDT. The game stops offering picks that would go past that cap.
Is there a winning strategy for Mines?
No. Every tile is equally likely to hide a mine and the game keeps a 3% house edge whatever you do. Choosing when to cash out changes your risk, not your long-run return.
