How to Deposit USDT TRC-20 to Fish & Chips from Binance — Step-by-Step (2026)

If you have USDT sitting on Binance and you want to play on Fish & Chips, this guide walks you through the exact steps to move it over. The whole process takes about 4 minutes and costs 1 USDT in network fees (Binance's withdrawal fee — not ours).

The three things you have to get right are: the right network, the right address, and the right minimum. Get any of them wrong and your funds either get rejected (best case) or sent to a wallet on a different chain that nobody controls (worst case). We'll cover all three.

TL;DR: Withdraw from Binance → Tron (TRC20) network → paste your TronLink address (starts with T) → minimum 1 USDT → arrives at Fish & Chips in 60–90 seconds.

Why TRC-20 and not ERC-20?

Binance lets you send USDT on four networks: Ethereum (ERC-20), Tron (TRC-20), BNB Smart Chain (BEP-20), and Solana (SPL). Fish & Chips only accepts Tron TRC-20. Here's why we picked it:

Network Withdrawal fee from Binance Confirmation time Reliable on mobile?
Tron (TRC-20) 1 USDT ~60 seconds Yes (TronLink)
Ethereum (ERC-20) 5–25 USDT (varies) 1–5 minutes Painful
BNB Smart Chain 0.29 USDT ~30 seconds OK
Solana 1 USDT ~30 seconds OK

Tron wins for sports betting because the fee is fixed, the confirmation is fast enough to deposit at half-time, and the TronLink mobile wallet is the most polished crypto mobile experience right now. If you try to send USDT on a different network to your TronLink address, the funds will be lost — there's no recovery. Tron addresses can only receive Tron-network tokens.

Step 1 — Install TronLink and copy your address

If you already have TronLink, skip to Step 2.

  1. On mobile: install TronLink from the App Store or Google Play. On desktop: get the Chrome extension.
  2. Open the app, tap Create Wallet, set a password, and write down your 12-word recovery phrase on paper. Do not screenshot it. If you lose this phrase, your funds are gone forever — TronLink cannot recover it. We can't either.
  3. Your wallet address is the long string starting with T (like TXYZab123...). Tap it to copy.

Quick sanity check: every Tron address starts with the letter T and is exactly 34 characters long. If yours doesn't, you copied something else by mistake.

Step 2 — On Binance, start a USDT withdrawal

  1. Open Binance → WalletWithdraw.
  2. Search for USDT and select it.
  3. Paste your TronLink address into the Address field.
  4. In the Network dropdown, scroll down and pick Tron (TRC20). Do not pick ETH/ERC20, BSC/BEP20, or anything else. This is the most common way people lose money.
  5. Enter the amount you want to send. Minimum is 1 USDT (which is the Binance withdrawal fee threshold). We recommend sending at least 5 USDT your first time, because Binance charges the same 1 USDT fee whether you send 1 or 1,000.
  6. Binance will show you the arrival amount (what you sent minus 1 USDT). Confirm this looks right.
  7. Hit Submit and complete 2FA / email verification.

Step 3 — Wait 60–90 seconds

Tron blocks are produced every ~3 seconds. Binance typically waits 19 confirmations before broadcasting, which adds ~60 seconds, then the transaction is final on-chain. Total time from "Submit" on Binance to "Arrived" in TronLink is usually 45 to 90 seconds.

You can paste your address into TronScan to watch the transaction land in real time.

Step 4 — Deposit into Fish & Chips

  1. Open fishnchips.io on the same device that has TronLink installed.
  2. Tap Wallet in the bottom nav.
  3. Tap Connect TronLink. The app will ask for permission to read your address — approve it.
  4. Tap Deposit, enter the amount of USDT you want to load into your game balance, and confirm in TronLink.
  5. Done. Your points appear within ~30 seconds. 1 USDT = 1,000 points.

Your first deposit gets the 50% welcome bonus (up to 5,000 bonus points) automatically. No code, no opt-in.

The three mistakes that cost people money

Mistake 1: Wrong network (ERC-20 instead of TRC-20)

This is the big one. If you select Ethereum/ERC-20 in the Binance withdrawal flow but paste a Tron address, the transaction will fail — Binance's address validation usually catches this, but not always, especially on the mobile app. Always check the network dropdown shows "Tron (TRC20)" before hitting Submit.

Mistake 2: Sending below the minimum

Binance has a minimum USDT withdrawal of 1 USDT on TRC-20, but the effective minimum is around 2 USDT — anything smaller and the fee eats half your deposit. Below 1 USDT, the withdrawal will be rejected entirely.

Mistake 3: Mistyping the address

Tron addresses are case-sensitive. Never type one manually — always copy-paste, and verify the first 4 and last 4 characters match. Some malware silently replaces clipboard contents on mobile, so the paranoid move is to scan a QR code instead. Fish & Chips' wallet page generates a QR for your address.

How withdrawals work going the other way

When you cash out from Fish & Chips, we send USDT back to the same TronLink address you connected with. Our hot wallet processes withdrawals automatically (you can read about our auto-withdrawal system on the how-it-works page). Median withdrawal time from "click Withdraw" to "USDT in TronLink" is around 90 seconds. You can verify any payout on TronScan — every transaction is public on the Tron blockchain. We post payout-proof transaction IDs in our community channels.

Common questions

Can I deposit from Coinbase / Kraken / Crypto.com? Yes — same process. Just look for the "Tron (TRC20)" network option when withdrawing USDT. Coinbase calls it "TRX network." Kraken supports it. Crypto.com supports it. Anywhere that lists USDT on Tron will work.

What if I only have ETH or USDC, not USDT? Easiest fix: swap it to USDT on Binance first (free), then withdraw on TRC-20. Don't try to use a bridge — bridges are slow, expensive, and risky.

Is there a maximum deposit? No hard cap, but for amounts over 5,000 USDT, send a small test transaction (10 USDT) first to confirm the address resolves correctly in your wallet. Then send the rest.

Do I need to verify my identity (KYC)? Not for Fish & Chips — we do not require KYC. Binance may require it on your end depending on your country, but that's between you and Binance.

What if my deposit doesn't arrive? Open your Fish & Chips wallet page and check the transaction history. If the TronScan link shows the transaction is confirmed but the deposit isn't crediting, contact us in our community channel with the transaction hash and we'll backfill it within an hour. This is rare — it only happens if our deposit watcher gets restarted at the exact moment your transaction confirms.
